ok, ok, here are some pictures
It’s been a really busy week; anniversaries, birthdays, Grandad arriving, preparation for our trip to Chicago (well, I haven’t actually done anything to prepare, but just thinking about what we need to do kind of stresses me out). We leave on Wednesday afternoon, so I’ll be offline for a little while, but will definitely keep [...]

Nola’s Three Month Birthday
Well, it was three months ago today that Nola came into the world! Happy birthday sweet girl! We’re going to celebrate by venturing into Boston and walking around Charles Street with Gran and Aunt Peggy. Here’s a picture of Nola looking very stoic in her old age:

Back to work
Well, I truly cannot believe it, but it’s time to go back to work already. My how time flies! Tomorrow I go back to being a grown-up and start my part-time work week. Dru’s mom (Gran) is here until October, and she’ll be watching Nola while I’m at work. For this I am truly grateful. [...]

Co-sleeping: a rant
OK, I’m about to get on my soapbox. I was listening to NPR the other day and heard a tragic story about five infant deaths in one week. The infants died accidentally by smothering in their parents’ bed. You can listen to the interview with the chief medical examiner here. I tell you this not [...]

I’m really behind on my entries; I’m going to try to catch up in the next few days so stay tuned! A week or so ago we had the last in a long line of visitors coming to meet Miss Nola. My Aunt Michelle came to see us and left singing praises for Nola in [...]
