Happy Thanksgiving!
As usual we celebrated our thankfulness by eating copious amounts of cornbread dressing, ham, turkey, and pie. We went to our friends Amy & Josh’s house for lunch. They have a piano and Nola got to play:

Nola is 6 months old as of yesterday. In her old age she decided that she was ready for solids, even though her Mama wasn’t quite ready to make that leap. Well, our biggest news lately is that we’ve been working on getting Nola to try to sleep most of the way through the night. So far it’s been two steps forward and one step back. I finally put the fourth side up on the co-sleeper and moved it to the other side of the room. [...]

Well, Nola’s first Halloween party was a success; several of her buddies came over sporting some adorable costumes.
